This lake house is a dream come true!

It's a place where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced life—a place where it's easy to relax, unwind, and enjoy some peace and quiet.

And that's exactly what this client wanted when they bought their getaway home in a secluded corner of the province, nestled next to a peaceful lake. They needed this home to be fresh and relaxed, functional during extended stays during the summer months, and warm and cozy for Christmases with the family. They also wanted minimal renovation for their living room and entrance, as well as proper décor so that it felt comfortable and welcoming.

With views of the lake from every window—and no neighbours close by—the client preferred that windows remain uncovered so that views were uninterrupted when relaxing inside by the fire. We took advantage of existing wood trims and beams, leaving them untouched and maintaining the warmth they lend to this home.

For those extended stays without a grocery store nearby, we designed a kitchen with lots of storage, including an ample pantry space and a double-size fridge/freezer.

This new bathroom was designed especially for families who enjoy the outdoors! The old soaker tub was replaced with a large shower designed perfectly for the kids coming out of the lake and quickly running through the mudroom into the bathroom for a refreshing shower.

The clients were amazed at the transformation we delivered for their dream lake house. The clients wanted a home that would be bright and relaxing but also practical for their busy lifestyles. The result was a home where everyone who visits desires to stay longer!
